SKIP&DIE started as a collaboration between the South African vocalist / visual artist Catarina Aimée Dahms (aka Cata.Pirata) and Dutch producer Jori Collignon (C-Mon & Kypski, Nobody Beats The Drum).
Entitled “Riots in the Jungle“, the album was written by Cata.Pirataand Crypto.Jori while traveling through South Africa’s Soweto, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Guguletu, collaborating along the way with some of SA’s most inspiring music-makers on the rise. The album portrays their experience of blazing sun, dusty roads, township shacks, cockroaches, riots, skulls, bones and lovebirds. It contains songs in English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu, Spanish and Portuguese.
The SKIP&DIE album,”Riots in the Jungle” will be coming out in October 2012 on Crammed Discs.

ca-ca-ca-catch me in the fast lane
roll the dice and win the game
self-direct the suckers pay-off
go for broke again
and playa pla pla playa da-don’t cry for me
mami’s got more trinkets up her sa-sa-sleeve

Bernhard Willhelm S/S 2013

In a beautifully collaborative relationship the idea was to use Faceshift and 3d Studio Max to express human realness with the advantages of technology. The heads were custom designed for each outfit to capture the essence of the ensemble and make it come alive. This truly amusing and visually compelling experience shows a new way of looking at collections and the models of the future. Feast your eyes on the Bernhard Willhelm S/S 2013 Women’s Collection.
